To the untrained eye, this might seem like a normal automatic chronograph. However, this watch is one of the coveted "rattrapante" or split-second chronographs. Hamilton only made 365 examples of this limited edition watch. Each watch is uniquely identified by a specific day of the year on the caseback. This is one of the most rare watches Hamilton has ever made.

The word "rattrapante" comes from the French verb meaning "to recapture" or "to catch up." A rattrapante chronograph integrates the functionality of two stopwatches. This is useful for timing simultaneous actions that begin at the same time but end at different times. These watches are also called split-second chronographs and double chronographs.

Overall condition is immaculate. The case and metal clasp are free of any significant scratches. The original leather strap has minor wear on the inside. Comes with box and booklets.
