Seiko Giugiaro x White Mountaineering (SCED065) – $300

The Seiko x Giugiaro relationship is one of the most notable and distinctive collaborations in the watch world. It all began in 1983 with four “Speed Master” watches, two of which were worn by and subsequently named after the characters “Ellen Ripley” and “Bishop” in the 1986 film Aliens. After re-issuing the aforementioned models in 2015, Seiko turned their attention to the lesser known motorcycle-focused 7A28-7A00 SBBJ “Speed Master” series. Voilà, the SCED065, limited to 700 pieces. Intended for use while riding a motorcycle, the angled face makes it easy to tell the time without removing your hand from the handlebars.

The listing is for a pre-owned SCED065, and comes with the complete set, encompassing original box, papers and hang tag. The seller claims to have only worn it around the house several times, after having purchased it from Sakura Watches in November 2020. It is uncommon for one to pop up for sale within the US, as it is a JDM model. The last sale we recorded of this watch in the US was at $410, and given the market average of $345, the seller’s asking price of $300 seems quite reasonable.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon (1368420) – $6,325

There is beauty in simplicity, especially when it comes to the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon. With a case diameter of 39mm and an extremely low profile of just 9.9mm in thickness, the Master Ultra Thin is no doubt a classical dress watch – and for my money, far and away the best moonphase under $10,000.

The pre-owned Master Ultra Thin Moon comes with a close to complete set, encompassing the original box, hang tag, setting pin, manual and booklet, but not the warranty card. The reputable seller from Texas claims that the watch is not only in excellent unpolished condition, but also runs perfectly with no issues. With recent listing ask prices ranging between $7,000 to $9,000, the seller’s asking price of $6,325 seems to be quite competitive.

Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch (310.30.42.50.01.001) – $5,450

The Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch (310.30.42.50.01.001) is the latest evolution of the Speedmaster Professional, released in January of this year. Like previous Speedmasters, it features a Hesalite crystal, solid caseback, and a brushed bracelet. This listing comes with the complete set, encompassing original box, papers, warranty card dated April 2021, hang tag and extra links. The reputable seller claims that both the case and bracelet is in excellent condition, and that the watch is keeping great time; within COSC.

Our instant watch appraisal tool values this watch at $6,573, given its pre-owned condition, inclusion of box and papers, and sale in North America. The watch also retails for $6,300. Given this, the seller’s asking price of $5,450 seems quite good for a watch that is only a month old.

Panerai Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic (PAM359) – $4,000

This listing is for a Panerai Luminor Marina 1950 3 days Automatic, and comes with the complete set, encompassing original box, papers, booklet, tools and strap. The reputable seller from RolexForums claims that the watch is in excellent condition, however no further details have been provided in regards to its history.

Our instant watch appraisal tool values the PAM359 at $5,472, given its pre-owned condition, inclusion of box and papers, and sale in North America. The seller is asking for $4,000, which is a bargain to be had, considering that recently recorded sales have been in the range of $5,000 to $6,000.
